(Indo-Arab Relations from Cultural Perspective)
Abstract :Indo-Arab relations date back the Kauravas and Pandavas when they used Arabic as their secret language to discuss their war issues. It is also believed that Adam the first man on earth descended on the land of Srilanka and from there he moved to Jeddah. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also mentioned in several saying the greatness of India and its products. We find in Arabic poetry several mentions where our Indian products and names found high place. The Arabs time and again travelled to India for their trade which later developed in a cultural exchange after the Muslim rulers who established their rule here.
The paper in hand deals with the topic from several perspectives i.e. methods of education, native traditions, local foods and historical buildings which reflect each other’s impacts. The study also proves that both the nations took benefits mutually.
